0. PREÁMBULO

El propósito de esta Licencia es hacer que un manual, libro de texto u otro documento funcional y útil sea “libre” en el sentido de libertad: asegurar a todos la efectiva libertad de copiarlo y redistribuirlo, con o sin modificaciones, tanto con fines comerciales como no comerciales. 1. APLICABILIDAD Y DEFINICIONES

Formatos de imagen transparentes incluyen PNG, XCF y JPG. Los formatos opacos incluyen formatos propietarios o HTML/PDF generados por procesadores de texto para salida solamente.

La “Página de Título” significa, en un libro impreso, la propia página de título y las que sigan necesarias para incluir la información que esta Licencia exige. En formatos sin página de título, equivale al texto cerca de la aparición más prominente del título, antes del cuerpo del texto.

El “editor” es quien distribuye copias del Documento al público.

Una sección “Titulado XYZ” es una unidad nombrada cuyo título es exactamente XYZ o lo contiene entre paréntesis tras su traducción. Preservar el título al modificar significa que sigue siendo “Titulado XYZ” según esta definición.

2. COPIA VERBATIM

3. COPIA EN CANTIDAD

Los cambios limitados a las cubiertas, que preserven el título y cumplan estas condiciones, se tratan como copias literales en lo demás.

Si los textos requeridos no caben, ponga tantos como quepan en la cubierta y continúe en páginas adyacentes.

Si distribuye copias Opacas en cantidad, debe incluir con cada copia una copia Transparente legible por máquina o indicar una ubicación en red desde donde el público pueda descargarla mediante protocolos estándar, gratuita y libre de añadidos. Debe asegurarse de que siga accesible al menos un año tras la última distribución de copias Opacas.

Se solicita, aunque no es obligatorio, contactar a los autores antes de redistribuir gran número de copias, para que puedan proporcionar una versión actualizada.

4. MODIFICACIONES

Puede copiar y distribuir una Versión Modificada bajo las condiciones de las secciones 2 y 3, siempre que publique la Versión Modificada bajo esta misma Licencia, de modo que quien posea copia pueda distribuirla y modificarla. Además, debe en la Versión Modificada:

Puede añadir un Texto de Portada Frontal de hasta cinco palabras y uno Posterior de hasta 25 a la lista en la Versión Modificada, uno de cada tipo por entidad, o reemplazar uno anterior con permiso.

Los autores y editores originales no otorgan permiso para usar sus nombres en publicidad ni para implicar aval de la Versión Modificada.

5. COMBINAR DOCUMENTOS

Puede combinar el Documento con otros bajo esta Licencia, según las reglas de la sección 4, siempre que incluya todas las Secciones Invariantes sin cambios y las liste como Invariantes en el aviso de la obra combinada. El aviso de licencia solo necesita una copia de esta Licencia; las Secciones Invariantes idénticas pueden unificarse. Si varias Secciones Invariantes comparten nombre pero distinto contenido, haga títulos únicos añadiendo entre paréntesis el autor o un número distintivo, y adáptelo también en la lista de Invariantes.

Al combinar, unifique cualquier sección Titulada “Historia”, “Agradecimientos” o “Dedicatorias”; elimine todas las secciones Tituladas “Endosos”.

6. COLECCIONES DE DOCUMENTOS

Puede crear una colección que incluya el Documento y otros bajo esta Licencia, reemplazando las copias individuales de la Licencia por una única en la colección, siempre que para cada documento respete las reglas de copia literal.

7. AGREGACIÓN CON OBRAS INDEPENDIENTES

8. TRADUCCIÓN

La traducción se considera una modificación, por lo que puede distribuirse según la sección 4. Traducir Secciones Invariantes requiere permiso especial de sus titulares, pero puede incluirse la traducción junto al original en inglés. Puede traducir esta Licencia y avisos, siempre que incluya la versión original en inglés de la Licencia y los avisos. En caso de discrepancia, prevalece la versión original.

Si una sección Titulada “Agradecimientos”, “Dedicatorias” o “Historia” se traduce, preservar el título puede requerir cambiarlo conforme al idioma.

9. TERMINACIÓN

No puede copiar, modificar, sublicenciar o distribuir el Documento salvo en los casos expresamente previstos. Cualquier intento es nulo y termina automáticamente sus derechos.

Si cesa toda violación de esta Licencia, su licencia se restablece provisionalmente hasta que el titular la termine expresamente, y permanentemente si el titular no notifica la violación dentro de 60 días tras el cese.

Además, su licencia se restablece permanentemente si el titular le notifica la violación por primera vez y usted la subsana en 30 días.

La terminación de sus derechos no afecta las licencias de quienes recibieron copias de usted. Si sus derechos se terminaron y no se restablecieron permanentemente, recibir copias no le otorga derechos.

10. FUTURAS REVISIÓNES DE ESTA LICENCIA

5. COMBINING DOCUMENTS
